WP3: Dissemination & Standardisation

WP3 has basically three tasks:

• Driving the architectural analysis work and working out the relevance of FDOs in the realm of the ongoing international activities,
• Organising dissemination activities, creating documentation and the website
• Kicking off the standardisation roadmap work

This WP results in two substantial reports and a set of events including external experts

The Standardisation Roadmap Report implies to first do a scope analysis about all kinds of existing initiatives in the domain of digital data, determining areas of overlap and gaps. An MoU has been signed between the FDO Forum and DIN with the perspective to turn the FDO specifications into international standards which in general is a long way.
