FDO One Mission

Germany aims to advance its data economy by fostering international collaboration through the Global Integrated Dataspace. This initiative ensures data stability, reliability, persistence, and sovereignty made in Germany for a growing world wide data-net.

Strengthen the work on building the Global Integrated Dataspace across country borders for everyone which needs to be stable, reliable, persistent, easy to implement and support data
sovereignty.

Integrate global data sources including not yet unlocked data into a coherent data net to enable fast access to mission critical data in science and industry.

Showcase a layered structure as basic model for the global data space by

• Integrating the excellent Eclipse Dataspace Connector solution for secure data exchange as proposed by the IDSA.
  Integrating the already widely used Industry 4.0 Asset Administration Shell approach to model complex industrial assets.
• Develop the FDO Agent model to implement secure actions on shared data in a smart way.

Initiate the standardisation process of the FDO Specifications.
